RPG World Generator

Inspiration

We like playing RPGs

It creates a world to play RPGs in.

The GUI was made with Pygame and the backend was entirely supported by Python.

Many, but we overcame.

The project.

That I never want to pull an all-nighter ever... ever... again.

Possible continuation and iteration of the project.

I worked on the first iterations of the back-end. I developed the initial algorithms for map and history generation, while my other team members polished them in further iterations. I also helped a little with NPC generation.

I worked on creating the random generators, tweaking world gen to have more variety - building the tile and npc base classes that build up the foundation of world gen and npc generation.

I also assisted Jacob with the city/kingdom expansion system.

The video recording software seems to have changed colors, but the individual tiles are still set as water.
