Inspiration

HyperFi Shield is inspired by the pressing global issues of financial exclusion and hyperinflation, especially in regions where these challenges severely limit economic opportunities and growth. By leveraging the Stacks blockchain, which extends Bitcoin’s capabilities, HyperFi Shield aims to harness the security, decentralization, and widespread recognition of Bitcoin to create a DeFi platform that is accessible, informative, and powerful.

What it does

HyperFi Shield will integrate AI with the Stacks blockchain to offer a multi-faceted DeFi platform. Its core functionalities include:

  • Education on DeFi, Crypto, and Blockchain: Utilizing Stacks to create a decentralized platform where users can learn the basics and advanced concepts of blockchain and DeFi.
  • AI-Powered Compound Calculator: An innovative tool that projects investment growth over time, specifically utilizing sBTC to simulate real Bitcoin-based investment scenarios.
  • APY Aggregator Scanner: This feature leverages AI to scan and display APYs from various DeFi platforms on Stacks, offering users a comprehensive view of their investment opportunities.
  • Investment Security Power Meter: Utilizing Clarity smart contracts, this tool will assess investment security based on multiple logical factors, providing users with a clear understanding of their risk.
  • Strategic Investment Suggestions: Offers tailored investment strategies that accommodate both KYC and non-KYC users, promoting inclusivity and accessibility.

How we built it

HyperFi Shield is a concept and idea that can be built on the Stacks blockchain, utilizing Clarity smart contracts to ensure transparency, security, and direct linkage to Bitcoin through sBTC. AI components are integrated to enhance the platform's analytical capabilities, providing users with personalized insights and strategies.

Challenges we ran into

  • Writing Clarity smart contracts would be a challenge.
  • Balancing the complexity of financial strategies with user-friendly design and accessibility.
  • Adapting the project to fully leverage Proof of Transfer and sBTC’s potential within the constraints of current technology.
