Inspiration

HyperEdge was inspired by the countless hours game developers and studios spent building the backend infrastructure for our games. We talked to a lot of gaming studios and recognized that we are not the only ones who are experiencing it. We realized this time-consuming process could be streamlined, allowing developers to focus on creating engaging and enjoyable gaming experiences.

What it does

HyperEdge revolutionizes game development by automating the backend creation process. It enables developers to quickly and efficiently generate backend infrastructure, freeing them up to concentrate on game design and user experience.

How we built it

We built HyperEdge using three main layers: the AI Layer, where problem statements are translated into a sequence of API calls to our server; the Domain Specific Layer, where users can customize tools for their needs; and the Automation Engine, where backend code is generated and ready to be launched at scale. This robust system allows us to generate backend infrastructure more efficiently than traditional methods.

Challenges we ran into

While developing HyperEdge, we faced various challenges, including understanding the unique needs and pain points of developers, ensuring compatibility with popular game engines like Unity, and refining our AI algorithms to generate accurate and efficient backend code. We overcame these challenges through extensive user research, continuous improvements to our algorithms, and persistent testing.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud to have developed a platform that streamlines backend development for game developers, allowing them to bring their creative visions to life faster and easier. Our extensive user research and continuous improvements to our algorithms have resulted in a robust and efficient system.

What we learned

We learned that building high-performing, reliable, and scalable games requires not only technical expertise but also a deep understanding of the industry's challenges and needs. By focusing on these aspects, we've been able to create a platform that addresses real-world problems faced by game developers.

What's next for HyperEdge

We plan to continue refining and expanding HyperEdge's capabilities, incorporating feedback from our beta testers, and improving the platform based on user insights. Our goal is to officially launch HyperEdge, targeting both indie developers and large game studios, and establish a support and maintenance team to ensure a smooth user experience.
