Inspiration

Sara always uses public transportation to get from place to place. From her experience using the Broward County website, it is less than ideal. We had the idea to improve upon this website and make public transportation better for all. Using ideas from Lyft, we plan on implementing GPS tracking systems into buses so you can see where your bus is in real-time.

What it does

Simply input your current location and destination and you will see the fastest and most convenient bus that will take you to your location.

How we built it

We used Figma for the prototype and HTML and Visual Studio and uploaded the website to GitHub Pages.

Challenges we ran into

Since everyone was working on different parts of the project, we had a hard time organizing what each person needed to do. There was also a problem with simplifying the project in order to meet the deadline.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Adrian learned how to adequately code HTML and JavaScript. We learned how to take ideas from our heads and implement them into code. Tanuja is proud of learning something new in Figma. Axel and Sara are proud that we were able to make a product in 24 hours by working together.

What we learned

We learned concepts in HTML, JavaScript, and Figma.

Supplemental Projects

As a team, we also implemented the usage of C++ as a language to provide a general location of all data ranging from total points this season to MVP of the top 5 best teams as of currently. This project is meant to make finding information about football teams, whether professional or college, easier to find as multiple websites list different information and can be confusing.
