Inspiration
We're in the age of automated research. While agents are already dominating the digital space, there is still a big gap with experimenting and testing hypotheses in the real world. We're bridging that gap, letting an agent control a real world lab, and testing its own experiments.
What it does
We have a robotic hand and a laboratory like setup with flasks containing different liquids, and a robotic hand capable of autonomously withdrawing and mixing those liquids. We develop an agent that can formulate an hypothesis, make a physical experiment and then registering an hypothesis update.
How we built it
We train a VLA policy for letting our robot adapt to diverse liquid withdrawal scenarios and use a codex based agent + flywheel for hypothesis testing.
