Summary

Inspiration

Looking at the rivers that we pass by daily and wondering what we could do to make it cleaner

What it does

It leaves trash into a mesh net that catches the trash in order to minimize the amount of trash found in rivers

How we built it

Challenges we ran into

We had lack of time management, and the supplies we ordered online took longer than promised to arrive which was also apart of why our project is submitted a bit late.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Although this is our first time joining a competition, we were able to come up with an idea that could potentially solve a small part of water pollution, and how our idea got accepted.

What we learned

We learned that joining a competition isn't as easy as we thought and just because our idea got approved doesn't mean everything else is going to be simple. We also learned how to work together as a group, even though we're already close before the competition, we worked together in order to finish what we presented in this project.

What's next for Hydrocepter

We hope our prototype can contribute in solving a real world problem. And if it doesn't, we'll still try our best as a group to take opportunities like this and improve our next project.
