Inspiration

The inspiration for Hydration Hero came from the realization that despite having apps for almost every aspect of our lives, hydration often gets overlooked. Personal experience with dehydration and the desire to create a more engaging and interactive way to track water intake led to the development of this app.

What it does

Hydration Hero is a gamified water tracking app that aims to make staying hydrated fun and engaging. It features customisable avatars, interactive drink logging, and community challenges to help users build and maintain healthy hydration habits.

How we built it

The app was built using Flutter, Firebase Revenue Cat, and Rive. The focus was on creating a user-friendly interface with intuitive features that encourage consistent use.

Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges was designing an app that was both engaging and informative. Balancing fun elements with the educational aspect of tracking water intake required careful consideration. Additionally, ensuring the app worked seamlessly across different devices and platforms was another hurdle to overcome.

Accomplishments that we're proud of
