Inspiration
-The only chance you have to learn about clubs is the annual club fair -Most clubs only communicate through slow email chains -Hard to see which people are in what clubs and when and where clubs meet
What it does
Our app, HW Clubs offers features to solve existing problems as well as other functions to make life more convenient for students, by making it much easier to find clubs and manage clubs that you're in. Logging in with your HW credentials makes it easy to track students and make sure that only HW students are using the app.
How we built it
We used swift through xcode, and firebase for the database.
Challenges we ran into
At one point most of our progress got deleted due to out first commit to github deleting all of our progress, and at multiple times we ran into issues costing us hours due to small errors (for example, outlets not being connected)
Accomplishments that we're proud of
-Managed to code a working app in a language we didn't know -Learned how to use Firebase to save user data
