For Students: Are you struggling to land your dream job despite having skills? Hustl guides you step by step. It crafts a flawless, AI-personalized resume tailored to job descriptions. It evaluates your readiness with mock interviews that analyze your answers, tone, facial expressions, and confidence. Plus, it recommends the most relevant certifications, ensuring you meet industry standards and stand out from the competition.

For Recruiters: Overwhelmed by hundreds of applications yet unsure who fits? Hustl’s AI analyzes resumes, evaluates LinkedIn and GitHub profiles, and applies a custom ranking algorithm to identify top candidates. It provides relevance scores, skills alignment, and a comprehensive overview, ensuring you never miss the perfect hire.

Challenges We Ran Into

Creating a platform this ambitious meant navigating significant hurdles. For example, integrating AI to provide reliable feedback in mock interviews was tricky; initial attempts produced vague or biased results. To solve this, we designed custom prompt templates, multi-agent systems, and integrated trusted sources like LinkedIn and GitHub to deliver precise feedback.

Another challenge was balancing complexity and simplicity. Designing an intuitive UI that hides the technical depth while providing users with a seamless experience required relentless iteration and user feedback loops. Each click and transition was refined to ensure that the journey feels effortless and effective.

Accomplishments That We’re Proud Of

We successfully built a system that redefines job preparation and hiring. Hustl empowers students to overcome rejection by becoming job-ready while enabling recruiters to make data-driven decisions with confidence. It’s not just a tool—it’s a solution to a deeply rooted problem.

This journey taught us the power and pitfalls of generative AI, the importance of user-centric design, and how to turn technical complexity into intuitive solutions that resonate with users.

What’s Next for Hustl

We plan to integrate real-time job feeds from platforms like LinkedIn and Google Careers, refine our AI algorithms further, and expand Hustl’s reach globally to make job readiness accessible to everyone.

How We Built It We utilized cutting-edge technologies like LangChain, Next.js, Python, and MongoDB to bring Hustl to life, ensuring a seamless blend of functionality and scalability.
