Inspiration
After hoping to use our experience with Machine Learning for the disruption track, it was actuallly the synergy track where I felt we could utilize our skills most.
What it does
Takes live input in ASL and interprets it according to a pre-trained model. Then using the letter prediction, create a string of letters that are converted to morse code.
How we built it
Using experience in neural network technology, we explored the possibilities with OpenCV and live data processing.
Challenges we ran into
Our biggest challenge was converting the idea to an MVP, as the time constraints were felt even more towards the end of the project.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud of adapting to the Hackathon's time constraints with a weaker but quicker model.
