Inspiration

We have family and friends who were affected by the recent hurricanes and our mission is to help the victims better.

What it does

1. For volunteers
2. Platform to donate money and resources to the victims of the hurricanes.

3. Keeps track of hurricane and resources needed.

4. For victims

5. Provides an emergency chatbot with a clear interface

6. Provides immediate care and contacts authorities

7. Sends location of victim if necessary

How we built it

We built a chatbot and a web page using node.js, javascript, python, HTML, and google maps API.

Challenges we ran into

Getting the chat bot to work, integrating the buttons and figuring out the right chatbot UI for victims in a state of panic.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Got the heat map to work! Chatbot also works!

What we learned

Learned more about web-pages, virtual environments, and Natural Language Processing.
