Inspiration
Contest prizes are fragmented across platforms. Teams win, then drown in spreadsheets, DMs, and delayed payouts. HUNT already ranks contests by expected value—Purse closes the loop from win → split → pay.
What it does
- /wallet live surface: goal ledger (₩100M), remaining budget, EV-weighted allocations
- AI-proposed prize splits for 1–5 teammates
- PayPal Checkout order via
POST /api/paypal/order(sandbox whenPAYPAL_CLIENT_ID/SECRETset; otherwise deterministic mock with approve URL stub) - Ties back to HUNT Contest Hunter radar on the home board
How we built it
Next.js App Router + TypeScript. Wallet planner in src/lib/wallet.ts, PayPal Orders helper in src/lib/paypal.ts, UI at /wallet. Demo is publicly reachable without install.
Challenges
PayPal sandbox keys and Devpost Cloudflare intermittently block automated judge paths—so the demo degrades gracefully to mock orders while keeping the same UX judges click.
Accomplishments
- Working public demo: https://fleet-committed-thumbs-mechanical.trycloudflare.com/wallet
- Radar + purse + taste APIs in one agent surface
- Submission package aligned to PayPal × AI (agentic prize distribution)
What we learned
Agentic money flows need human-in-the-loop approve URLs, not silent transfers. EV ranking without payout is half a product.
What's next
Live PayPal + Octet/Ohai rails, team invites, and webhook → revenue ledger when prizes actually clear.
