Inspiration
From the recent scams, and allegations towards the food delivery applications all over the country. Along with them, one of the another main inspirations is the disappointment of the employees, especially the drivers who work for these applications.
What it does
Along with works like normal food delivery app, but it's more of a restaurant-friendly app, along with employee-friendly as well.
How we built it
Right now, we worked on front-end of this web application for this, and we used html, CSS and Java Script purely. We are working on backend frames such as node.js for more improvisation and solvation of complex matter.
Challenges we ran into
At first, we were not sure of, to create our own application, we just thought of an extension to uber eats, but slowly as we started learning about the faults in this field, we got inspired. Even though we are confused at beginning, with a good amount of time for brainstorming and discussion among ourselves, we were able to crack most of the problems.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We all are new to coding, and definitely not experts. We're proud of finishing the project, even though, at times, we felt like giving up, through the wrestling with the coding part and its debugging, we ultimately went towards our main goal.
What we learned
We learnt, of how brainstorming is the most important part not only for hackathon, but any project, especially in groups. It was very tough for us, as a team to unite and come up with a single winning idea, but at the end it was a valuable lesson, looking back at it.
What's next for Hungry Harbour.
We will start working on back-end process for this app. We will make something similar to the existing food-apps, but its definitely going to be cost-effective, and more friendly.
