Inspiration

We all get hungry every day at work and very often there are meetings and conferences with leftover food that is often wasted.

What it does

This hack connects people with food and avoids food waste

How I built it

We used AWS Alexa, Lambda, Rekognition, Javascript WebcamJS

Challenges I ran into

We tried to stream webcam video but could not do it in time so instead we used WebcamJS in order to capture images every second and upload it into S3

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

We did this in 5 hours!
