Inspiration

Previously we have built career fair in online multiplayer browser game, where we attracted more than 50 companies (PWC, PepsiCo, Semrush, P&G, Playrix) and more than 80 000 candidates. While doing this career fair we noticed huge gap between supply & demand of IT talent. Today we see even wider gap between WEB3 companies/ Foundations and WEB3 candidates. And we think we can narrow this gap through our metaverse with UGC content from creators, foundations & WEB3 companies.

What it does

Open-source metaverse with UGC events, educational content and quests from WEB3 companies, foundations and creators. Place for WEB2 candidates to immerse in WEB3 market and discover career opportunities & communities.

How we built it

Firstly we spoke to many hiring managers, HRs, WEB3 employees and potential WEB2 candidates to validate the problem and solution. We have experience of building metaverses built with proprienary assets and tools. We decided to build new Meta using only open-source technologies and make it open-source. We used NEAR to create smart contract with which creators could add & own content in our Meta, and decided to use DAO for approval governance.

Challenges we ran into

Giving the opportunity for creators to submit and own their content in meta arose questions on approval of this content, and we decided to use DAO for governance of content in Meta and NFT through NEAR for ownership of content for creators.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Finding the real problem for which companies and foundations are ready to pay to solve. Going open-source with our meta and finding solution for scale of educational content with UGC from creators.
