I had watched a tv show about food insecurity recently and was struck by the amount of food that goes to waste every year (119 billion pounds goes to waste annually just in the US). As world hunger is a solvable problem, I wanted to help create a solution that addresses some of the food insecurity faced by people.
HumanityNow is a website that proposes 2 different food programs as well as showcases how it work on app.
