This website was created from scratch by my teammate and me who are beginners to the world of coding. We initially wanted to make a game, but after evaluating our coding skills, we decided to create a multipage website. We were inspired by the recent BLM protests that had occurred. The challenges we faced were mainly beginner issues. For example, how to download the code and turn it into a file. I know this may seem silly for people who have the experience, but even figuring out how to create a computer file to input material was difficult. It's a miracle we finished in time. From this experience, we learned to stay calm. Really though, at times we felt like crying and just giving up out of frustration because things just weren't going the way we expected. In the end, we manage to pull through with a tremendous amount of help from an amazing resource called Google. On a positive note, this website will be updated weekly to bring attention to world issues that aren't widely covered by media as they should be. The purpose of this website is to put all the important issues you need to know in one place, and with one click of a button, you can sign petitions and donate to make an impact.
