Inspiration

When my group and I got information about Rektdrop and started analyzing what Evmos was doing, we knew right away that we needed to do something that would contribute to the ecosystem.

Considering that we are a group that loves data and its analysis, we decided to create such a tool for the Evmos community.

That's how the idea for the Evmos Tracking Tool was born.

What it does

Evmos Tracker Tool is a web app that expands on the functions of Mintscan.io/Evmos to provide additional crucial missing features for traders and facilitates the analysis of on-chain data.

How we built it

We used the latest web technologies (Angular 13) and fetched data from various routes - Covalent, Evmos Mainnet RPC, Diffusion Finance token list, and even recently opened DefiLlama API.

We agreed that we need an archive node, and we intend to set it up in the coming weeks.

Challenges we ran into

Acquiring the correct data was the most challenging task for us due to the fact that Evmos ecosystem is in its early stage of development and growth.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are very happy that we developed this couple of modules considering all the challenges. We have overcome even the Nomad hack. Due to all the constraints we faced, we are really pleased and proud of what we delivered.

What we learned

Nothing more than that it is only necessary to persevere in the outlined plans. When something is closed and stops working, in our case when someone stops providing the necessary, as was the case with some routes from Covalent, there is always another place to look and try to get the same data and maybe even better ones.

What's next for https://www.evmostracker.ai/ ( https://evmos-tracker-tool.vercel.app/ )

For this hackathon, we have prepared 3 modules out of 8 planned (there may be more in the future). Although the hackathon is over, our plan is to bring the tool to its best version and become Nansen for the Evmos ecosystem and community and eventually for the entire Cosmos.
