Inspiration of ScamGuardSecurities The rise of crypto scams, rug pulls, and fraudulent investment schemes has created massive losses for investors and shaken trust in digital markets. Traditional investor protection frameworks often lag behind in decentralized ecosystems. ScamGuardSecurities was inspired by the urgent need to create a community-driven, transparent, and technology-enabled safeguard that empowers investors to make safer decisions. What it does ScamGuardSecurities acts as a security layer for investors, combining scam detection, compliance monitoring, and transparency tools. It leverages smart contracts, AI-driven risk analysis, and crowdsourced reporting to: Flag suspicious tokens, domains, or wallets. Provide compliance and regulatory checks for projects. Offer investors a dashboard to assess risks before engaging. Create a shared knowledge base of scams and malicious actors. How we built it Smart Contracts: To enable decentralized verification and immutable logging. Risk Scoring Engine: Integrated with AI/ML models to detect patterns linked to scams. Community Reporting Layer: Allows users to report suspicious activity and vote on trustworthiness. Web3 + APIs: External data feeds from blockchain explorers and regulatory datasets. Frontend UI/UX: A simple dashboard for real-time scam alerts and risk scores. Challenges we ran into Ensuring accuracy of scam detection while avoiding false positives.
