Inspiration
Inspiration
Inspiration for the HRI Micro Challenge is taken from the anime Solo Leveling, where a weak character gets a "System" that continuously trains him via daily quests to unlock his full potential.
In this, I wanted to bring that notion into the real world : a system that would incentivize users to become stronger through constant micro-challenges.
What it does
HRI Micro Challenge is a lightweight fitness motivation app featuring one micro challenge per day, such as “1-minute plank,” “5-minute walk,” “10 push-ups,” or “10 squats.”
Users can:
View a new challenge every day
Track progress instantly
Receive motivational messages and maintain streaks
Challenges are generated dynamically by a Google Cloud Run backend, which provides scalability, real-time updates, and serverless architecture for fast deployments.
How we built it
Frontend: MIT App Inventor
Backend: Google Cloud Run (Python/Flask API for challenge generation and tracking)
Integration: The MIT App Inventor app uses the Web component to call the Cloud Run API and display challenges to users.
