Inspiration

Being an IT employee for couple of years, i had chance to work in startups and mid sized companies. Due to my luck or some other factor, i had multiple, occasional talks with people at top level like founders, co-founders whose continuous wish is to retain the team and keep the product in right direction. Keeping aside the Large or small organizations, most of the companies wants to build their work culture to be good for their employees. And it is what employees want in return for their contributions. Safe and supporting working culture along with yearly CTCs and hikes that depends again on their contributions.

Even though pay is Good as promised, employees are still leaving the organizations and major contributing factors they mention when asked is unsafe environment, No recognition or wrong recognition. So, one party always looses and quits the place quoting BIAS in the place. This is huge and unwanted problem for the teams and organizations.

Our AIM is to bring the AI into Picture and create safe environments for employees which improves the productivity, work life balance and in-turn benefits both the employees and the organizations at scale

What it does

1.HR RRR brings AI into picture and solves the most common workplace problems by understanding the Disputes, Analyze the situation, questions the parties involved with right situational and contextual questions. Provides the mediator with insights and various scores for each factor. Suggests on what can be improved in the organization to mitigate such scenarios again. Since AI is in picture and contextual questions are framed by it, there is no much scope for one to point the decision as Biased. Also the timeline for dispute resolution gets reduced compared to traditional manager-lead-HR cycle which has less co-ordination and sometimes makes problem more complex with or without their Biases. Trying to use AI for the betterment and safe office spaces which are meant for productivity and not for debates and delusions. 2.Apart from Dispute solving, HR RRR also provides proper tools for employees to share their achievements and log them regularly in the portal. This will help them easily show their contributions to the stakeholders and help them with their financial and positional improvements from organizations because of clear visibility.

  1. Another main problem employees face regularly but un-officially is Knowledge transfer among individuals or teams. I personally feel, Proper planned KT session is 75% work done. Because any new person joining the team can work upto the mark only when they understand the concept or product. So, solving KT problem is a must and highly beneficial for the organizations.

How we built it

Built using bolt.new as an web application. It is currently still in testing stage and is ongoing.

Challenges we ran into

I am from non coding background and faced few issues initially while using bolt.new to build the application, i thought of giving up but later it seems product also improved and mainly i also learnt how to use it properly. Few major problems that scarred me initially:

  1. After making few changes to the existing working code, preview page used to not load. Since i am from non coding background, i have faced difficulty in resolving the issues and make preview work again.
  2. Not using the Discussion mode is my mistake which costed me both time and the tokens. When i just asked bolt.new to check and provide some information, it used to automatically start making changes to the code. It was very difficult to watch that.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Being a non coder and working individually, i was very happy that this is possible to build an working application that solves some real problem. Even though production version is not ready, i am confident that this can be achieved with some patience and Learning.

What we learned

Learned to plan or have some proper Idea and decide what you want. ignore the noise. AI may suggest many things or sometimes implements few things automatically within the same give prompt. One needs to be careful and go trough the changes once very iteration. Learned on efficient use of tokens with Discussion vs implementation mode.

What's next for HR RRR

I am 100% confident that this will be useful for both organizations and the employees based on my experiences at work spaces. I need to yet decide on right features and security measures to data privacy. Will try to plan what's next after testing and making it more ready for usage.

IMPORTANT to NOTE: Dear team,

  1. Only the dispute resolution flow is ready i.e RESOLVE. REWARD and RESKILL is in implementation and improvement stage. This features will be made available soon.
  2. There is a minor glitch noticed in prod version after deploying to netlify. Once user switches to new tab and visits HR RRR portal again, page is refreshed automatically and continues to show loader. In that case please clear the cookies in browser and re-login.
