Inspiration
We thought of this idea by thinking of our daily routines, especially how we start our mornings. Our goal is to help students like us have an easier wake-up routine, seeing we are already busy with many other activities in our daily lives.
What it does
A web application that provides students with a central location to view their calendars, tasks, bus schedules, and notes. The project was conceived, designed, and prototyped by a team of four students at a two day hackathon, called DiamondHacks, at North Carolina State University.
How we built it
The technology used in the project included Node.js, and the Google Calendar API.
Challenges we ran into
We spent a lot of time figuring out the best technologies to use for a hackathon setting. In addition, we ran into many installation problems...as usual.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We have two great prototypes, one for a mobile app, and one for a web app, even after our challenges.
What we learned
We learned how to use new technologies and work with people we have never worked with before.
