Inspiration 💡✨
Browsing or researching online can be tedious and boring, so I wanted to make it fun.
What it does 🚩✨
This chrome extension hacks into the user's window and displays a text, a fun emoji.
How we built it 🧱✨
I used HTML, JS, and JSON to make the chrome extension.
Challenges we ran into 🧗✨
This was my first time making a chrome extension, I had to go through a lot of documentation and tutorials. Initially, I planned to have a chrome extension that lets users change the background and fonts and have an audio play while they browse online. However, the code didn't run as I thought. Nonetheless, I enjoyed learning and having a (somewhat) product at the end of the hackathon.
Accomplishments that we're proud of 🏆✨
To be able to finish and demo my project.
What we learned 🏫✨
To build a chrome extension
What's next for Howdy Doody 🔮✨
I wish to implement the browsing feature that I had initially thought of.
