A note from the author: First, thank you for reading appreciate all the essential workers, the people who worked in the grocery stores, the hospitals, and all other places to keep society running. My deepest condolences to all those personally affected by COVID-19. I am grateful for the work that is being done to minimize this and other diseases in the future. Second, I am an Emory alumna. During my time there, I studied Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology (NBB). I found the study of the human body fascinating. I am so excited to combine my love of storytelling with science for the education and entertainment of children. I am happy to submit this story to the 'COVID-19 Children's Ebook Competition'. Edit: Updated social distancing suggestion to just "Try to leave space between you and another person" because saying "especially if a person looks sick" could promote bias and also asymptomatic people can be infectious.

Also explained what a vaccine is in kid terms.

At the end of the submission, I saw how I could upload PDF version. Thank you for taking the time to look at my work. I really hope that this is able to encourage children to stay positive during this scary time. Also, I hope adults take the time to reassure and comfort the children. I hope this is a helpful resource for all.
