How Distancing Brings Us Closer Together

I am an occupational therapist and realize the great need for this book for kiddos! Also it was extremely fun to make

What it does

Describes the importance of social distancing and what all is happening right now with the coronavirus. It also describes how our bodies react to "germs" and what we can do to help our immune system and mental health!

How I built it

I used my macbook and google drive to make everything. I only used stuff I had in my house (quarantine creativity!) and took pictures of everything I made, as well at things in my back yard as inspiration!

Challenges I ran into

Time crunch (I found out about the competition 3 days before deadline)

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I wrote AND illustrated a children's book in less than 3 days! I mean that is a huge accomplishment. Writing a children's book is what I've always wanted to do and this has really helped me push myself to complete the first one, and to serve as inspiration.
