Inspiration: Nobroker. Nobroker is India's largest aggregator of real estate data. I recently wished to see where I could invest in properties in future. The prices are very high. But I saw on no broker that there are some plots nearby which are being sold for very reasonable prices. This motivated me see how can someone look these prices nearby, but to sorrow this not intuitive and prices are spread everywhere
What it does: It shows you prices of properties near you. You can contribute information to it too.
How we built it: Maps api and bigquery
Challenges we ran into: Maps api was new but fun to explore
Accomplishments that we're proud of: I have been away from javascript for long but started on it again.
What we learned: Map api has amazing functionalities which can help me in the project
What's next for househelp: Embedding with bigquery and releasing for public
