This project was inspired by the ongoing housing crisis in the United States, particularly the interplay between housing affordability and crime rates. Using publicly available data on housing prices, crime statistics, and demographic factors, I aimed to explore the relationship between these variables across different states. Through data cleaning, merging, and statistical analysis, I examined correlations between crime rates and housing prices while addressing challenges like data gaps and inconsistencies. Additionally, I used geospatial visualizations, including choropleth maps, to highlight patterns in housing affordability and safety. Also, tableau to make dash boards and visualizations to understand the relationship between different variables. The project helped me develop deeper insights into how housing and public safety intersect, enhancing my skills in data analysis and visualization.
