Inspiration
We wanted our house to be a bit smarter than us
What it does
Opens the door and lets you arm the alarm for it before you head out.
How we built it
We used firebase as well as amazon alexa to create it along with javascript
Challenges we ran into
getting firebase to work with everything, we had a bit of troubles.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We got it to kind of work! it'll open and close but we're still trying to arm and disarm fluidly
What we learned
we learned how to use alexa and how to use firebase
What's next for House
image recognition, unlock and unlock using face. many more house applications like the nest.
