Gig Workers on Medicaid can lose coverage if they miss 80 hours

What it does

HourProof turns weekly earnings screenshots into one clear number. You upload a weekly earnings screenshots. The app reads it and you can fix anything before adding it. Then you see where your month stands. Then you get a monthly summary you can print. Your screenshots are not stored and your numbers stay on your phone.

How we built it

We built it by having planned everything with the right skills and going step by step with the help of Claude Code. The writing of the code was so easy, and everything was fast. That's why the project was really fast to build.

That HourProof would really simplify a lot of lives and help people with their struggles, and I hope that it would ease their lives

What we learned

I learned to use Claude vision API.

What's next for Hourproof

I would first add multiple languages like Spanish and Chinese. After that, I would like to constantly update the app for the new rules regarding each state and to always protect the data. This whole idea could be sold to Medicaid insurers.
