Inspiration
We were inspired by Netflix series, Alice in Borderland , where there were many different games where players were put to the death. We decided to make something similar to that.
What it does
You are trapped in a hotel with a single murderer. You have to find the exit soon, or else the murderer will find you. You have a certain amount of time to find the correct exit. If you run out of time, you die.
You get 3 attempts to pick the right door. If you cannot find it, you die.
If you get caught by the killer, you die.
Clues will appear on the screen to help you find the correct door.
How we built it
We used SFML,C++, and used a game engine based on SFML.
Challenges we ran into
Learning C++. This was our first time really making a larger project in C++. We normally only work with small code snippets.

-Randomizing Levels, Teleporters

Making games is hard.
What's next for Hotel of Death
Using A* for an AI bot, different hints. Better randomization of levels.
