Inspiration

Since matriculating at Rice, our three team members have gone through much uncertainty in terms of our career paths. We've all changed our major at least once, and therefore are coming in with limited data science ability. But now we've decided we're ready to start devoting time to our true passion - data science.

What it does

Our model predicts the number of hot dogs sold.

Since we have very rudimentary modeling skills, it was tough to build a model that was accurate.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We believe the fact that we made a model at all is something to be proud of.

What we learned

We learned what the deficits in our data science are and where we can improve for next year's Datathon!
