Overview
HOST3 is a next-gen web hosting service and DEX that aims to match the funding needs of developers with the risk money needs of investors by trading tokens to be used to pay for ads, subs, and bills.

Inspiration
Why is it tough to launch a web app? You usually need to raise the development costs by yourself and do everything from marketing to monetization on your own. Ten thousand great ideas come out every day, but most of them, 99.9% of projects, disappear into the garbage of the Internet without ever receiving an investment opportunity.
Is there any way to fund or monetize web apps? We’ve always wondered that, and we realized that blockchain technology could be the answer. Blockchain enables users to invest in web apps with great potential for capital gains or pay for advertising or subscriptions.
Developers can raise funds at an early stage. In addition, earn advertising revenue and subscription revenue through the tokens.
This is cool, right? Why is everyone investing in dead pictures? Web apps are constantly evolving.
What it does
The solution is HOST3. HOST3 matches the funding needs of web app developers with the risk money of investors. What do we need for matching? We’ve decided to provide the hosting service. Developers can deploy their apps on HOST3. At the same time, a token is minted. Investors who visit HOST3 will see a lot of golden eggs, but they can’t decide which app will grow, right? That’s why HOST3 provides investors with analytics such as visits count and how fast developing a web app is. These features are provided as HOST3 is a hosting service. Investors will be able to examine this information, and they will invest in AppToken. Sounds like fun, right?
Developers can
- smoothly deploy their app from their GitHub repository
- mint tokens and create a pool for swapping with a single click, even if they are not familiar with web3.
- raise funds by selling AppTokens to pay for services on their apps, including advertising, subscription, and billings.
DeFi users can
- evaluate the utility and functionality of the app by seeing it in action.
- get an idea of the market's valuation by looking at analytics such as the number of visits to the app.
- gain future app token value increases by quickly identifying the app's potential and obtaining app tokens early.
What's next for HOST3
The potential of HOST3 is unlimited. We are taking on the ambitious challenge. It’s that HOST3 allows users to purchase advertising space on their web app with burning AppTokens. We also plan to provide the infrastructure to use AppTokens for web app subscriptions and in-app purchases. We call it “AppFi.” HOST3 aims to capture all the markets (ads, subs, bills) related to web app revenue.
Challenges we ran into
As soon as I came up with the idea, I started to seek development members worldwide. Every candidate understood the potential of the project, and I had no trouble getting members. But it was my first time developing Web3, and none of the members had any experience in Solana development. That's very unsettling, isn't it? But the great work of someone’s predecessors helped us a lot. Thanks to Solana-Lab’s documentation, Oyster-swap, Raydium-UI sample code, etc. We were able to keep developing. Thanks a lot. Marketing was also a challenge. In the beginning, I didn't have any followers, and no one joined Discord. Sometimes I felt hopeless as if the idea of HOST3 hadn't been conveyed at all. But I kept sharing information in the spirit of "Don't give up," and the number of people who supported us gradually increased. Now we've achieved my goal of 20K followers, and Discord is on fire.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
One of our great achievements is that we created a hosting service that is technically challenging to build from scratch and adds the uniqueness of issuing AppTokens. This is the essential function for the future development of the HOST3 ecosystem. Will app developers use existing hosting services if they know they can get funding in HOST3? The answer is No. HOST3 will inevitably attract ambitious apps and create a whole new market that has never existed before. And HOST3 will use this infrastructure as a base to go after huge markets such as Ads, Subs, and Bills.

- Early users, when they find a good app, invest in the app as investors and earn capital gains.
- Developers strive to develop good apps with support from early users.
Both users and developers should be stakeholders in the app to promote rapid growth🚀
What we learned
We've noticed something while designing the token. It is important to note that HOST3 does not tokenize the ownership of the web app itself. Instead, it tokens the future profits that the web app will earn. All payments for Ads, Subs, Bills, etc., on the web app, will be done through token burns. For example, when an advertiser buys an ad space, AppToken will be burned for that space. This means that advertising revenue will be returned to all app token holders immediately. In other words, HOST3 is able to guarantee that app revenue will be returned to the token holders in a decentralized manner. This is precisely the opposite of how stocks are audited to ensure that corporate profits are returned to shareholders in a centralized manner.
How we built it
Web Hosting Get source code from GitHub repository
- Use Docker to build the environment and build the project
- Use Cloudflare for CDN
- Use Docker on Azure for building projects
- Use Firebase for authentication and store config data. Web3 tokens
When the web app is hosted, HOST3 will mint the AppToken and create a pool of AppToken and HOST3
