Inspiration

Healthcare is often fragmented, with patients juggling medical records, hospital visits, and follow-ups, while doctors and staff face heavy documentation loads. We wanted to build a platform that simplifies care for both sides—bringing hospitals and patients together in one intelligent system powered by AI.

What it does

HospitAll is an all-in-one healthcare platform where:

Patients can manage their health profiles, voice health diaries, appointments, and upload medical documents for AI-powered summarization.
Hospitals, doctors, and nurses can use tools like the Consultation Transcriber (voice-to-structured-notes), appointment scheduling, and secure access to patient-uploaded reports (when consented).
AI helps by summarizing medical documents, reports, and diaries, providing clear insights for doctors and patients.
Voice tools make it easier for everyone—patients log symptoms by speaking, and doctors dictate notes hands-free.

How we built it

Frontend: Next.js + Tailwind CSS for responsive, clean, and healthcare-friendly UI.
Backend & Auth: Supabase for authentication, role-based access, and database management.
Database: Structured schema for hospitals, staff, patients, appointments, medical documents, consultation notes, and diary entries.
AI & Voice Tools:
    Deepgram for real-time speech-to-text.
    Gemini 2.5 Flash for structuring consultation transcripts and summarizing uploaded reports.

Challenges we ran into

Designing intuitive role-based dashboards that remain simple despite complex workflows.
Handling voice transcription accuracy across medical terminology.
Ensuring secure document uploads and sharing only with patient consent.
Building a seamless multi-step appointment scheduler without making it overwhelming.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Integrated voice-based workflows for both patients and doctors.
Built a document upload + AI summarization feature that saves time for doctors.
Created a fully functional two-sided platform with no mock data, powered by real Supabase tables.
Designed a professional, blue healthcare UI that feels modern yet approachable.
