Hospital Update

Inspiration

This project was inspired by a New York Times article written by Dr. Daniel M Horn: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/03/22/opinion/health/ventilator-shortage-coronavirus-solution.html It called for Silicon Valley to make a cloud-based platform where hospitals can report their beds and ventilator supplies. I created this platform so that the government could better track these supplies to make better decisions.

What it does

It is a simple form where hospital managers can read and update ventilator and bed supplies. These numbers update a database which can be read by the right user. This platform completely changes how the government decides which hospitals receive ventilators. Now, it has a clear idea of which hospitals truly need them.
