Inspiration: The desire to help doctors and physicians better organize the information of their patients using visual elements.
What it does: Stores and organizes data of patients.
How we built it: Using Python with SQL connectivity as well as Tkinter for GUI, and libraries such as pandas, matplotlib, Treeview, etc.
Challenges we ran into: Lots of debugging and fixing the visual elements of the graphs. Committing changes to the SQL database.
Accomplishments that we're proud of: Learned a new language and successfully compiling the program.
What we learned: A new programming language and GUI, better teamwork, as well as a better understanding of data structures.
What's next for Hospital Management System: Facial recognition systems to authenticate the identity of patients. Although, we were successful with facial detection, facial recognition will be our next step.
