Inspiration: Hospitals have been affected by the coronavirus because of unemployment issues and overflowing of patients. These two factors can lead to an increase in the lack of resources.
What it does: This project provides reasonable prices for goods that hospitals would like to purchase. With an easy to use UI and simple questions, the user can order an item and pick a quantity. After purchasing, they will get an online receipt with a list of items they purchased as well as a subtotal.
How we built it: Using python and pygame
Challenges we ran into: Struggled a little bit with pygame because I was not familiar with it.
Accomplishments that we're proud of: I was able to finish a project that could make an impact in the word.
What we learned: How to make a nice UI and make the project look more pleasing using pygame.
What's next for your project: My project can be modified to ask the user if they want the receipt emailed to them or printed and mailed. I can also add more items to be purchased.
