Inspiration

HormoneLens was born from a personal struggle. I was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) and experienced firsthand how difficult it is to understand and manage hormonal health. Like many women, I found myself constantly switching between different health apps, searching for answers online, tracking symptoms manually, and consulting multiple doctors. Every source provided only a small piece of information, but none offered a complete picture of my health.

The more I researched, the more I realized that millions of women face the same challenge. Hormonal disorders are often detected late, symptoms are ignored, and healthcare remains largely reactive rather than preventive.

This led me to a simple question:

"What if there was a single platform that could understand hormonal health, predict risks, and provide personalized guidance before problems become serious?"

That question became the foundation of HormoneLens.

What it does

HormoneLens is an AI-powered hormonal health platform designed to help women understand, monitor, and improve their hormonal well-being.

The platform combines symptom tracking, lifestyle analysis, wearable health data, and predictive analytics to generate personalized health insights. Users can track factors such as sleep, stress, hydration, nutrition, physical activity, and menstrual health in one place.

One of the core features is the Digital Twin, a virtual representation of a user's hormonal and metabolic health. It simulates how daily habits affect long-term wellness and provides actionable recommendations for healthier outcomes.

AI Prediction Model

Our predictive engine evaluates multiple lifestyle and health parameters to estimate hormonal health risk.

How we built it

We developed HormoneLens as an end-to-end intelligent healthcare solution.

  • AI and Machine Learning models for risk prediction and personalized recommendations.
  • A Digital Twin framework that models hormonal and metabolic health.
  • Interactive dashboards to help users understand health trends and progress.
  • Secure data management for storing and processing health information.

By integrating multiple health indicators into a single ecosystem, HormoneLens delivers a comprehensive and user-friendly experience.

Challenges we faced

One of the biggest challenges was simplifying complex hormonal health information into insights that users could easily understand and act upon.

Another challenge was creating a Digital Twin capable of representing real-world health behavior while maintaining accuracy and usability. Since hormonal health is influenced by many interconnected factors, designing meaningful prediction models required extensive research and careful planning.

Balancing scientific credibility with a seamless user experience was also a key challenge throughout the development process.

What we learned

Through this project, we gained valuable experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Digital Health Technologies, Predictive Analytics, and User-Centered Design.

More importantly, we learned that the most impactful innovations often emerge from real-life problems. Building HormoneLens transformed a personal health challenge into an opportunity to help thousands of women better understand and manage their hormonal well-being.

Future Vision

Our vision is to make hormonal healthcare proactive, personalized, and accessible for everyone.

In the future, HormoneLens can integrate with wearable devices, healthcare providers, laboratory reports, and advanced AI models to create a complete hormonal health ecosystem. We aim to empower women with early risk detection, personalized recommendations, and data-driven insights that support healthier lives.

By shifting the focus from reactive treatment to preventive care, HormoneLens has the potential to transform the future of women's healthcare.
