Last week I had an experience with a co-worker where an older male said something to me that made me think, "if I weren't a woman, he would not have said that to me." The comment left me uncomfortable and it wasn't the first uncomfortable comment this coworker had said to me. This event and the ones that had come before it made me think about sharing that experience. It was small, most people would tell me to brush it off, but it wasn't the first one I had where I was left feeling like there wasn't much I could do to change the situation. This comic blended into a VR experience that simulates the office space in which the encounter occurred, hopes to demonstrate one of these mundane experiences that I have come to accept as a part of life but hope to slowly change over time.
