Inspiration

In today's fast-paced world, managing finances shouldn't be complicated or time-consuming. Horizon Banking was inspired by the vision of creating a seamless and empowering banking experience that puts users in control of their financial futures. We wanted to design a platform that not only simplifies everyday banking tasks but also provides tools to help users grow their wealth, plan for tomorrow, and make informed decisions.

What it does

Horizon Banking offers a comprehensive suite of features designed to streamline financial management. Users can effortlessly transfer payments between accounts or to other users, ensuring fast and secure transactions. The app allows easy addition and management of multiple bank accounts, giving users complete control over their financial landscape. With a clear and intuitive interface, Horizon Banking displays recent transactions and provides a detailed history of payment transfers, helping users stay on top of their finances with ease and transparency.

How we built it

Horizon Banking was built using modern web technologies like Next.js for seamless performance, Tailwind CSS for efficient and responsive design, and ShadCN to deliver a sleek, accessible user interface. This tech stack ensures a fast, scalable, and visually appealing experience, allowing users to manage their finances effortlessly across devices.

Challenges we ran into

Building Horizon Banking posed challenges like integrating multiple bank APIs securely, optimizing real-time transaction data without affecting performance, and ensuring responsive design across devices using ShadCN and Tailwind CSS. We also navigated strict banking regulations and data privacy requirements to ensure a smooth, compliant, and secure user experience.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Horizon Banking successfully integrates secure payment transfers, seamless bank account management, and real-time transaction tracking. It delivers a responsive, user-friendly experience across devices while ensuring compliance with strict banking regulations and data privacy standards.

What we learned
