Inspiration

Survivor.io and zombocalypse were our main inspiration.

What it does

Fun top down survival game where you shoot ever increasing hordes of zombies

How we built it

We used unity and vs code editor to build the game.

Challenges we ran into

Collaborating since we can’t connect it to GitHub or work on unity at the same time. Controlling waves was also a big problem, since its hard to find a good equation to model it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Accomplished a minimalist top down survival game within 8 hours, as well as using logarithms in order to model algorithms

What we learned

We should try to collaborate before the actual hackathon and try to get familiar with the tools, making sure we know them in and out.

What's next for Horde

Expand the game and add more levels and weapons, and add a power ups system which allows to player to gain powers by defeating enemies, as well as a way to increase total ammo held.
