Inspiration

We have missed a few too many meetings this year. GoMeet would make our lives just a little bit easier.

What it does

GoMeet opens your class meetings at a set time, varying your classes depending on whether it is an A or B day.

How we built it

Tutorials and Google and Pain.

Challenges we ran into

We didn't know a lot about GUIs and had minimal experience coding real-world projects in Java, so we had to start almost from scratch and learn how to use all of the code we wrote.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Prior to Packhacks, we had never built a GUI. Though simple, we are very proud of our GUI... even though its in Java.

What we learned

We learned a lot about how to build GUIs and use external libraries in our programs. Before PackHacks, we had little to no experience writing programs that used anything other than the basic imports. We also learned how to manage our own programs and plan them out ourselves.

What's next for GoMeet

We didn't get to finish all of the features we wanted to add. In the future, we want to make it flexible to use with different schools and schedules, as well as make it more streamlined and appealing to the eye. The program could have been more self-explanatory.
