Email Assistant is an AI-powered Chrome extension that helps users reply to emails faster and more efficiently — right inside Gmail. The project was inspired by the everyday struggle of handling large volumes of emails and writing thoughtful replies under time pressure. Whether for work, school, or personal use, we wanted to make communication smoother and smarter.

We built a lightweight browser extension that integrates directly into Gmail’s compose window. With a single click on the "AI Reply" button, it generates a professional, context-aware response using an AI backend built with Spring Boot. The goal was to bring AI assistance to users without requiring them to leave their inbox or copy-paste into other tools
