Inspiration: We were inspired by other non-profit organizations and websites such as National Geographic and the US Navy site. Also using the original website as a base, we incorporated a new design and functions to create our website.

What it does: This website makes donating more readily available immediately after entering the website and it clearly stated the non-profit's main goals at the forefront of the website, making it very accessible to viewers. This page also includes news, sign-up, and contact information. You can access other pages of our website design using our linked drop-down menus. We have a volunteer page that easily shows all the volunteer opportunities. We have a Learn More page that clearly shows the mission of HOPE Worldwide with a response form, the history, core values, and publications. Finally, we also have direct links to the Contact Us page that includes a form submission and all contact information.

How we built it: We used the application Figma as well as Youtube and Capcut to create the video.

Challenges we ran into: We did not know how the Figma application worked since we were all new to it, so we had a tough time creating basic text boxes and cropping images. Additionally, we were unsure of what organization we wanted to work with since the group liked multiple non-profits while we talked to the mentors.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: We are proud that we created a functional dropdown bar as well as buttons that functioned to direct the viewer to access different parts of the website.

What we learned: We learned how to use Figma at a high level as well as were able to work together with a big group of 6, since we did not know anyone in the group prior to this event.

What's next for Hope Worldwide Website Redesign: Redesigning the process of hiring volunteers, learning how to code it to be a function website, pitching it to Hope Worldwide as well as high skilled coders in order to make the vision possible for future applications.
