Inspiration
Evolving the way people commutes in the cities. Build THE place where people can connect with others traveling on the same direction. Avoid time and money wasting in our daily commute. Community creation.
What it does
It is a ride-sharing match maker. Users must register their commute credentials and the app will search people compatible to make the trip. Users are capable of searching other users that might fit with those credentials. They are able to book a seat, or to invite people to travel in their cars.
How I built it
We are a team formed by 1 Android Developer, 1 iOS Developer, 1 Back-end Developer, and 1 UX/UI Designer. Is being developed for Android and iOS.
Challenges I ran into
Building a development team. Discovering market insights to build a desirable product.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
We have a successful running MVP (Minimum Viable Product). This MVP encourages people to share their commute credentials in order to find a match to travel in a simpler, safer and better way. We have around 1500 users in 1.5 months and growing. We have closed 8+ local partnerships to give our community more benefits when traveling together.
What I learned
People is used to this problem, and sometimes they forget it is a problem and they just live with it. We also detected that people is willing to ride-share and that they are actually doing it, despite the safety concerns they initially have, because they feel part of a community.
