Inspiration

Small e-commerce sellers often don't have the time or budget to write compelling ad copy for every product they list. I wanted to see if AI could reliably turn a simple product description into multiple ready-to-use advertising angles.

What it does

HookForge takes structured product inputs from e-commerce sellers and generates multiple short-form advertising angles and ready-to-use creative copy, saving sellers the time of writing ad copy from scratch for every listing.

How I built it

I owned the full product lifecycle — designing the product logic, integrating LLM APIs, debugging reliability issues in AI-generated output, deploying the MVP, running real-user testing, and iterating on output quality based on feedback.

Challenges I ran into

Getting consistent, high-quality output across different product categories was harder than expected — what worked well for one type of product often produced generic or off-brand copy for another. I had to iterate heavily on prompt design and add guardrails to keep output quality consistent.
