HookForge generates scroll-stopping hooks, full video scripts, and platform-ready captions from a single topic — built for faceless content creators.

WHAT IT DOES:

1. Hook Generator — 5 scroll-stopping hooks per topic across 5 frameworks (curiosity gap, contrarian, callout, cold-open, stakes). Every hook passes through a 4-check programmatic quality gate: no topic reveal in first 2 seconds, answer withheld, open loop, conversational tone.
2. Script Builder — full narration script with TTS-friendly punctuation, 15/30/60s durations, EN/ID, beat structure (HOOK → BODY → CLIFFHANGER).
3. Caption Composer — platform-specific captions (X ≤280, TikTok ≤150).
4. Topic Freshness Check — fuzzy matching over 90-day history warns before repeating content.

HOW I BUILT IT (KIRO USAGE):

Built spec-first with Kiro: wrote requirements.md (4 user stories), design.md (architecture, API contracts), tasks.md (12 tasks in 4 waves) in .kiro/specs/. Steering files (product.md, tech.md, structure.md) guided every generation. Dev-quality hooks run lint+typecheck on save. Every line of code traces to a spec.

THE FRANKENSTEIN STITCH:

Combines LLM text generation + programmatic content-psychology validators + TTS prosody rules + fuzzy dedupe — technologies not normally found together in one tool.

Built with: Next.js 15, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Vercel AI SDK v4, Upstash Redis, Vitest, Kiro.
