Students especially in impoverished places need as much help possible in doing their homework and gaining proper knowledge and improve education.

What it does

'Homework Helper' can help with a variety of homework tasks, including math, science, history, and writing. It can also help a student understand complex concepts and explain difficult material in a way that is easy to understand. If a student is struggling with a particular assignment, it can help. Students also have the options to listen to the explanation with audio, print the explanation or email the content.

How we built it

'Homework Helper' is a chrome extension that uses writer API to generate content and a textual explanation from the user's prompt question. The chrome extension is built using html and javascript. The chrome also uses chrome 'tts engine' to listen with audio in english.

Challenges we ran into

Challenges encountered were from making sure that all the prerequisites are met to create content in Chrome canary browser with tup-to-date components, enabling the correct writer API flags, and creating make the writer API work in the extension.

To know the feasibility, its scope and usability when it's available in the marketplace.
