All of us have Momentum Dash as a Google Chrome extension, so we were inspired to create a homepage that reflected our personal design choices and aesthetic preferences.

What it does

It's a homepage that shows a user the date, time, and weather while allowing them to create a to-do list and write down notes.

How we built it

Our framework was what we had learned during the Web Design track, and we used HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create our project. We each created separate parts of the project and combined our work via GitHub. All of the icons are hand-drawn by us.

Challenges we ran into

Figuring out how to use all three languages, especially JavaScript, as we had little to no previous experience with any of them. Also linking things together on GitHub.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We improved from last year! We got buttons to work, the notepad to work, and we were able to create a visually pleasing user interface.

What we learned

How to de-bug. Patience is key.
