Homes for the Heart

Inspiration

We were inspired by people try to get help from homeless shelters but stop staying committed after awhile.

What it does

This program keeps track of people looking for help.

How I built it

This was built using java.

Challenges I ran into

The main challenge faced was how to specifically help people and consistently help people.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

We are mainly proud of the interface created since this is the first GUI we've ever made.

What I learned

We learned how to create a GUI in java.

What's next for Homes for the Heart

The next step for us is too partner with Habitat for Humanity to create a more efficient way for people to own houses.
