A changing morning, one clear handoff — and no silent commitments.
A checklist lists work but does not explain what changes when one person cannot help. HomeRelay explores that handoff with two fictional adults, five tasks and a fixed morning clock.
The 08:12 workflow checks availability, schedules dependent tasks and explains what cannot fit. When Ben is unavailable, required tasks remain and optional recycling is deferred. A separate review must confirm the exact current feasible plan; a draft never silently becomes a commitment. An impossible deadline produces an explanation, not a false success.
The English web simulation includes a deterministic scheduler and a real local MCP 2025-11-25 server over Streamable HTTP. Three tools read state, draft/replan and request confirmed application through form elicitation. Digest/revision checks reject stale plans, operation IDs prevent duplicate commits and review reservations bind concurrent decisions to their exact task. Browser generation/order checks reject stale responses after reset or confirmation.
All household data is synthetic. There is no Alexa device/account connection, AWS, voice, messaging, calendar, real-home access or LLM runtime. Alexa+ describes the simulated experience, not a live integration or Amazon endorsement. AI assistance was used for code, tests, review and materials, not for a model inside the application.
Evidence distinguishes an earlier 32-test Python baseline from 18 updated relevant Python cases and six JS ordering checks; those counts overlap. A sandbox-enabled actual browser run produced the included 77-second captioned local video, with automated synthetic decisions rather than real human approvals. Actual desktop and 390px mobile layouts were inspected. This remains a bounded prototype, not a production, accessibility or all-platform certification.
The project was created on 23 October 2026 and progressed from a local stdio checkpoint to HTTP/session hosting and a browser simulation. No unrelated private project source was reused. Future real integrations, persistence, voice, larger scheduling and user research would be separate work. No measured real-world time savings or adoption is asserted.
